2020 Goals
The team at Supreme Industries works every day to make a positive impact. Our sustainability initiatives encompass community support and service, minimizing the impact to our environment, a commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and building a corporate structure that supports a strong, sustainable, and successful workforce and company culture.
Through our community impact fund, we support and sponsor a variety of local, recreational, community, and scholarship programs. Through our employer-sponsored community service fund, we are proud to pay our employees to make a difference in their communities. We pay our employees up to 40 hours per year to volunteer and support the organizations and nonprofits that matter most to them.
We work tirelessly to minimize the environmental impact of our work. From installing a solar array to power our corporate headquarters, to helping fund the Northeast’s first anaerobic waste digestion facility, to recycling timber mats and wood waste into organic mulch and soil products, we invest in the processes and technology to build a more sustainable business. Our strict idling protocols monitor and minimize fuel usage. And our industry-leading customer self-reporting qualifications empower transparency in greenhouse gas emissions, fuel consumption, carbon footprint mitigation, and machine efficiency tracking.
Supreme Industries invests in minority and female employee recruitment efforts to make sure our workplace of the future reflects the workforce of the future. Our contractor and subcontractor hiring practices prioritize minority-owned, woman-owned, and veteran-owned businesses. We’re committed to operating our business in a more equitable and inclusive environment.
Since 2017, Supreme has been a proud, 30% employee-owned company through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This significant commitment ensures that all employee-owners share in the growth and prosperity of Supreme Industries’ 2nd generation, family-owned business. Supreme makes 100% of the contributions and employees are vested in just 3 years. Over the course of a career, our ESOP can help employees build diversified, substantial wealth, not available in non employee-owned competitors.
