Supreme was founded by Kevin Boucher in 1982. The company’s roots are based in land clearing, chipping and grinding, which remains a core element of our overall business. Today, Supreme is a diversified company with over 100 employees and $10M in equipment. We are headquartered in Northwestern Connecticut in the town of Harwinton. We have a large fleet of company-owned equipment and vehicles, which are maintained by our staff at our fully functional equipment maintenance facility. We also provide mobile equipment maintenance and repair. The Supreme Group, Inc. has two operating companies: Supreme Industries, Inc. and Supreme Forest Products, Inc.

In 2006, Supreme Forest Products purchased New England Bark Mulch and New England Playground Surfacing. Combining this acquisition with Supreme Forest Products fast growing mulch business makes us the largest mulch and playground safety fiber manufacturer and distributor in Connecticut and one of the largest in the Northeast.
